Our working method
Goals
First, we look at the goals for your company or department. Where do you want to be in, say, three years? From this, we’ll create a handy poster that you can easily share with your employees, suppliers, or customers, for example. You can hang this on the wall, or for paperless offices, get a digital format. If you already have something similar, we’ll use that as a starting point.
Action Plan
Once you’ve established your goals, it’s time to look at what needs to be done to accomplish those goals in the coming year. What is already running well and what new initiatives will we start to get this done? Together we’ll make a concrete plan that states what the steps are, who is going to do it, when, and how. This is very important so that you and/or your team can see exactly what needs to be done and maintain a good overview. We have several versions for this, and it’s also available as an A2-size poster to hang up.
Execution
The most important thing about making plans is in the execution. That is why we support our clients in this so that their goals are achieved. How exactly we do that depends on the client and the issue. For example, one-to-one coaching, workshops, and/or consultancy. We have a very large network of companies, government agencies, and other contacts that we can help you with. This includes many free services from the government or local authorities and a plethora of subsidies that almost no entrepreneur or manager is familiar with.
Subsidies
If your company has 1-250 employees, we can usually help you on a subsidised basis. We use several schemes for this; for each company, we can see which ones you all qualify for. This depends on the age and location of your company and the subject you want to work on. If you have more than 250 employees or do not wish to use subsidies, you can of course proceed without them.
What we stand for
Result
For results both short-term and also long-term. Short-term goals are dwarfed if you don’t know where you want to go with your company or department. And you won’t achieve long-term goals if you don’t have a very practical plan of action for the present. We ensure a good balance between the “doers” and “thinkers.”
Nothing is separate
We tackle issues from a broad perspective because nothing is separate. Call it holistic or common sense, but all the changes you bring about affect colleagues, customers, and suppliers, for example. The whole has to fit together.
Pragmatic and positive
We work together with the knowledge of the client’s own sector, and to that, we add our knowledge of best practice. Our solutions are pragmatic and positive!
Open and honest
Being open and honest with each other. That’s the only way for us to effectively achieve results. Our clients get the most out of working together by being open and getting to the heart of the matter. And we do the same for the client.
Soft and hard side
A business or organisation without goals, action plans, budgets, and other tangible things has no focus or structure. But to run well, there must also be a good atmosphere, people need the right skills and knowledge, and appropriate behaviours. The so-called soft side. The balance between the two must be right. Brilliant Work coaches understand both sides and can make sure they are at an equally high level in your company.
FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
How long does a course take and how often do we meet?
As long as you want; the shortest is usually a month or three, the longest can be years. With us, you’re not stuck with a specific time frame. Only if we’re following a grant scheme do we have to adhere to those requirements. At the end of a meeting, we schedule the next one straight away. Often this is once a month, but more or less often is also possible, of course.
How long does a coaching session last and how does it run?
Usually two hours, but it just depends on what you and your coach agree on. Two hours is a great time to really get down to business, make plans, and go into depth. Our sessions are a mix of coaching, where we ask you a lot of questions and you come to good insights yourself, but also advice, where you get to your goal faster.
May I also call in between?
Yes, you may also call, email, or message your coach between sessions with questions
Who applies for the grant?
That depends on the arrangement; mostly yourself, but with a lot of help from our side
Where does the coaching take place?
This can be at the client’s location, at the coach’s location, via Zoom/MS Teams/Google Meet etc., or anywhere you like.
Do I have to pay for everything in advance?
If the coaching is subsidised, you will always receive an invoice at the beginning of the process, and we will let you know when you need to pay what portion. With unsubsidised coaching, you will receive a monthly invoice for the hours worked.
