Speaking the right language
With the right export coaching, you can grow your business abroad. We regularly help entrepreneurs who want to start exporting, but, for example, don’t act on leads because they’re afraid of violating foreign laws and regulations. We also see many entrepreneurs who, during their internationalisation, don’t have any distributors or agents at all. If they do have them, it’s only a few. This will often cause the common problem of sales not being as high as desired. Whether you’re crossing the border for the first time, or you want to strengthen or expand your existing foreign activities, it’s good to have someone by your side who speaks the language, has the right contacts, and can tell you everything about culture and legislation.
Subsidies
It’s often possible to (partly) finance coaching related to internationalisation through subsidies. For companies throughout the Netherlands (provided they are registered with the Chamber of Commerce as a private limited company), it is possible to receive a €1,000 subsidy per country. There is also an additional subsidy of €2,500 available if you are making your debut in a particular country. Each year, you can ‘stack’ these subsidies up to a maximum of €6,500 per year. Depending on which province your company is located in, subsidies may also be available at the provincial level.
