Lizanne Jakobs
Lizanne (1973) is the founder of Brilliant Work. With 28 years of experience in a wide range of sectors, she has a unique perspective on what makes companies successful and where you want to work as an employee. Lizanne has a degree in International Business Communication, is a certified Ology coach and DISC trainer. She speaks several European languages fluently, which has been very useful in her international career. From 1996 to 2010, she held various staff and management positions in customer service, marketing and sales.
Since then, she’s worked as a business coach, trainer and consultant both in the Netherlands and England, where she lived for 13 years. She was named one of the UK’s top 50 consultants by Enterprise Nation.
Lizanne is a professional speaker through Assemblee Speakers. She’s a keynote speaker and workshop leader on topics such as strategy, sales, marketing, internationalisation, behaviour and leadership.
She enjoys helping entrepreneurs and executives realise their ambitions for the company, taking a broad but mostly pragmatic approach.

My approach
The hard and soft sides of a company are equally important. So strategy, KPIs, process definition, et cetera, need to be balanced with the level of, for example, customer focus, leadership and communication in a company. I always look at where you can best focus on the two (or sometimes both at the same time) to see results in your business as quickly as possible; whether you're a start-up or running a larger and really established business with a lot of staff.
A touch of humour during the sessions also keeps things nice and light and fluffy.
