How to deal with inflation? Tips & tricks for entrepreneurs
How can you, as an entrepreneur, best deal with high inflation? 3 tips & tricks from our coach David:
1. Move up your prices quickly. This is especially true for manufacturing companies that supply wholesalers and stores & supermarkets and are not the market leader(s). But – if at all possible – don’t do this first or last.
2. Calculate your price increase primarily as a percentage. If you don’t do this, your margin will decrease. If possible, ensure that you increase the price of each product by the same percentage. To do this, look at the price and margin of your most important product.
3. Try to implement price increases as few times as possible. In other words: try to maximize the price increase. So, it’s better to increase by 12% all at once a bit later than to add 1% every month.

Our clients about Brilliant Work: Cees Embrechts talks about his journey with Ivar.
Cees Embrechts of Bestowill International B.V. recently completed a coaching program with Ivar. He is happy to share his experiences here:
”Slowly, the idea of starting my own business came to me. I had first followed a program to discover my passion. That might sound cliché, but it really had a lot of impact on me. Subsequently, I went looking for a business coach because I read that successful entrepreneurs make a lot of use of them. I needed help to gain some perseverance and the right mindset.”
“Ivar helped me to get my thoughts in order.”
Cees especially benefited from business coach Ivar during the times he was struggling. “Sometimes I had to find the motivation or I was scared because a lot of problems were coming my way. Ivar mainly offered me perspective then. He helped me to let things go,” Cees explains. “Those were the moments I needed Ivar to get my thoughts in order.”
“Ivar’s method was very pragmatic. That worked well for me. I have grown as a person. He knew how to reassure me, which made me feel less stress as a starting entrepreneur. Ivar is also nicely direct and enormously experienced, which I benefited greatly from.”
