New coach Willem van Putten on the team!
We are very pleased to welcome Willem to the team. He has a broad experience in national and international (interim) management positions. In most cases, these positions involved selling the products and services of often Dutch companies in new countries. In addition to managing companies, he has held a number of Guided start-ups on their “journey” to growth at home and abroad. There is nothing like making these companies successful and the energy you get from that is immense. In many cases, entrepreneurs focus too much on the product or service they want to offer and often pay (too) little attention to such things as regulations, permits, certifications and marketing.
William also works as teacher to Nyenrode and the college of Rotterdam. In Rotterdam he teaches, among other things, the course Doing Business in Other Cultures. Educations Willem has received are a doctorate in social geography RUU, Master in Information Management (KUB) and a number of management trainings at Insead, IMD and Kellogg. Willem is accredited to provide export coaching and consulting services with 100% subsidy.
Brilliant Work’s 100th subsidized export coaching program!
When we applied for and received the first export coaching grant for a client in early 2017, we were very happy to receive it. We are now at the end of 2019 and more than 100 clients have already been helped in the same way! We wanted to take a moment to celebrate this milestone in the newsletter. Do you also have the ambition to start with customers or distributors abroad or do you want more of them? Then ask about the possibilities! Also in 2020 you can still use this arrangement for 16 hours of free advice.
Want to go international with your webshop?
Our Stef van Boekel has written a nice article – in English – about how to make your webshop a success even across the border and what the pitfalls are. You can read it on https://brilliantwork.nl/how-to-start-e-commerce-cross-border/
Incubator Renkum
Brilliant Work is one of the partners at Renkum Onderneemt, where we help entrepreneurs in this region grow and improve their business operations. At the new location the Broedplaats we will give workshops. Dates are not fixed yet but we will probably start in January/February. Keep an eye on this website: https://www.broedplaatsrenkum.nl/workshops-voor-ondernemers/
Are you going to use the KOR as of January 1 or are you thinking about doing so? Then make sure you get our invoice this month so you can still deduct the VAT! For more information mail lizanne@brilliantwork.nl
