Subsidy for Entrepreneurs
Want to grow your business, develop your staff or organization?
Did you know that as a company with 1-250 employees, you can take advantage of several growth subsidies? The government naturally wants you to succeed as an entrepreneur, your business to grow at home or abroad, and your employees (if you have any) to grow with you. This applies to both start-ups and older companies, sole trader and medium sized business. We’ve briefly listed the possibilities for you.
15 types of grant
We currently help entrepreneurs supported by 15 (!) types of grant, but we also help them unsubsidized. Ask about options that fit your business and what you want to work on! A coaching or consulting program at Brilliant Work is often 33 – 92% subsidized. It is also possible to apply for several subsidies at the same time.
Developing employees
1. 90–100% grant funding for small and medium-sized businesses, capped at €25,000. Available to SMEs and, in certain sectors, large enterprises. Open to organisations throughout the Netherlands.
2. 100% grant up to €5,000 to develop a strategic training plan or training policy for companies in the metalektro. Valid throughout the Netherlands.
3. 30-70% subsidy on a maximum investment of €10,000 for businesses in the graphic media industry to further develop in the areas of leadership, employee development and vitality. Available throughout the Netherlands.
Entrepreneurial Coaching
4. For companies less than five years old in Gelderland, a €1,000 subsidy is available for our coaching and advisory services, plus a potential additional €1,000 for training. The subsidy covers 80% of the costs.
5. Up to one-third reimbursement of development costs, with a maximum of €2,250 per 12 months. Aimed at professional growth and future sustainability in the cultural and creative sector.
6. In the province of Flevoland, a €5,000 subsidy is available for coaching, with a 50% co-financing requirement.
7. Under this national scheme, self-employed professionals in the cultural and creative sector can receive a €1,200 grant, covering 75% of the costs of the coaching program.
Growth, responsible business practices or innovation
8. A 50% subsidy for all SMEs in Gelderland, with a maximum of €10,000, to support business growth.
9. Companies in the energy sector can apply for an 80% grant, up to a maximum of €5K.
10. For small and medium-sized enterprises committed to responsible business practices — including addressing supply chain risks related to people, the environment, and climate — a supportive grant of €10K is available.
Internationalization
11. Want to start with export or increase your international revenue? Receive a 1000 euro grant with a 50% own contribution. Available throughout the Netherlands.
12. Would you like an introduction to potential contacts in the country you’re exporting to for the first time, or where you’d like to grow your sales? A €2,500 grant is available with a 50% own contribution.
13. For the province of Flevoland, an €8,000 grant is available for coaching focused on international business, with a 50% own contribution.
14. Have you been financially affected by the war in Ukraine and/or the sanctions against Russia? A €2,5K grant is available, covering 80% of the costs. Applicable throughout the Netherlands.
Digitization
15. Companies less than 10 years old in the province of Gelderland can receive a €1,000 grant, with a 20% own contribution (€250), to hire an expert in digitalisation.
