This training is intended for anyone who encounters challenges in their work for which no standard solution exists or for which a renewed approach is desirable.
Too often, we’re inclined to suggest an old solution for a new problem, even when we suspect there could be a different approach: one that’s innovative, more effective, or inspired.
Perhaps you don’t consider yourself creative; in this training, you’ll discover the opposite is true. Maybe you recognise your creativity, but find it challenging to channel the flow of ideas effectively and make them applicable. Or perhaps you want to inspire others around you to come up with innovative ideas.
In this training, the focus is on letting go of old thought patterns and creating new possibilities. We’ll go through the creative process using practical issues from the participants and make creativity practically applicable.
Learning Objectives
In this training, participants will learn:
- Tapping into Inspiration
- What hinders their creativity and how to address these obstacles
- Applying the 4-Phase Model for Creative Problem-Solving
- Redefining and analysing opportunities and problems
- Various methods for generating new ideas
- Applying working methods to stimulate others’ creativity
- Utilising metaphors and imagination
- Converting ideas into solutions and actions
- Gaining acceptance for new ideas (optional).
Duration
This training consists of two consecutive days. It’s possible to opt for a different training duration in consultation, for example, a half-day workshop.
Setup
We work in a group with a maximum of 10 participants. Prior to the training, each participant has individual contact with the trainer to determine learning objectives. In the training, we go through the creative process using practical issues from the participants. What’s learned is thus directly applied and tried out.
