Together with Renate Termaat and Lizanne Jakobs of Brilliant Work, Pam Post & Tjitske Westra are developing a robust marketing strategy<\/strong> to enthuse more schools about greener schoolyards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ladies have a unique company with a fantastic goal: supporting schools, after-school care facilities, and daycare centres in greening their grey schoolyards. Pam and Tjitske are true entrepreneurs who put their backs into it. They started in 2020, and during the lockdown, they visited and researched around 100 green schoolyards. “From conversations with caretakers, teachers, and directors, we know what works and what doesn’t, both financially and practically.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The strength of the Schoolpleinvergroeners lies in the fact that we don’t just design a schoolyard that reflects wishes and requirements; we also set our own standards. A suitable play area for every type of play in combination with the school’s pedagogy. A design by the Schoolpleinvergroeners goes much further than ’tiles out, plants in’. And it has to, because a schoolyard isn’t a park, and a schoolyard isn’t a playground either.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“A green schoolyard gives children the opportunity to learn from nature. Children go to school with more enjoyment, and there’s less bullying,” Pam and Tjitske explain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
